If anyone has ever wondered if the subject field has a limit, it does. The subject of this entry that I had intended to use wouldn't fit, it being:
The blindingly boring boringness of unbelievable blahish and seemingly bequeathless brooding bordomness.
That wouldn't fit, however, and so you get what you get. It really was annoying, because it took me for freaking ever to come up with that subject in the first place, for real!

If the subject isn't a dead giveaway, I am utterly and completely bored. I haven't been this bored in a long time; I can't remember when I was this bored actually. I even went on The zone a bit ago, and we all know how often I don't go on there; yes, it was that bad. I don't have any work I really need to be doing that I can do right now. I could work more on my assignment for programming, but I'm having certain issues with it, (I think I know what they are actually' just not totally how to fix them), and haven't received a reply to my email yet from the TA, so am kind of stuck right now in going further. ALl the other work that needed to be done immediately I've done, and nothing is really pressing at the moment. On one hand, that's a good feeling, but on the other hand; I really want to do work, but can't in that one case. AH well, I guess I should just take it for what it is and enjoy it.

Today wasn't too exciting, although I did get to go home and have a home-cooked meal, mmm tasty for sure. We had chicken, mashed potatoes, dressing, and green beans. I had both white and dark meat, and have come to the conclusion that I really do think I prefer dark over white. Both are good, dark is just more moist and tasty, in my opinion. Other than that, I did a bit of reading, and Liv got to play outside and run around, which was nice. We put ear stuff in her ears to clean them, but she didn't like that too much. We did it outside so that whe she shook, it wouldn't get all over, and when my moe put the first dose in her one ear, she already started to squirm so when the second ear was done, she shook all over and went away, as if to say she'd had enough. What can I say, I guess my dog's a bit of a wimp :). They do say: Like handler like dog, but in some ways, I don't know how true that is, although I do believe it for the most part.

Hmm, what else? Not too much really. Today has just been nice and relaxing. I'm still keeping up with Wilma's progress and still hope that Florida doesn't get hit too too bad, but aI don't know if that will be the case or what will actually happen. I'm definitely keeping those of my friends who I know are in Wilma's path in my thoughts. With that, I think I'll close this, post it, and then call it a night. Showers are nice, and sleep is even nicer. More later, I think it's bedtime for me.

my dog isn't a big fan of the ear-cleaning either. it's a weekly horror. I have to do it in the bathroom with the door shut so he won't get away. he used to just hardly tolerate it, but after i accidently stuck the little squeesey thing too far into his ear and probably hurt him as a result, he's been quite resentful toward me when it comes to that. a little tip: keep some treats on hand, and give her one when you've finished. Knight still isn't crazy about having his ears cleaned, but he knows he doesn't get the treat if he doesn't sit still. it's works...kinda. at least i don't have to chace him around the apartment anymore.

Haha, yeah, I've actually tried that. Liv doesn't really care if she gets a treat or not--she'll usually end up cooperating even if she doesn't like it too much, but sometimes the extra treat does help.

You mentioned in your latest entry I think that you weren't sure if your dog Knight or Kerri's Jazmin came first in the litter of puppies. Does GDF use tattoos for identification? GEB does, and part of the tattoo number includes which dog in the litter that particular dog is. My dog is fourth in her litter. I just wondered how other schools did it.

Haha I love how you want work. Your work ethic is heckuv admirable. And I love how you and I andl oads of other people use "The Zone" to sort of clarify the depth of our boredom. It's quite amusing and sad all at once. lol
Take care.
XOXOXOXX,
Caitlin
