Can I go to bed now, please?

It's not even 10:30 yet, (at least not now; it probably will be after I click on "post" and this gets magically whisked away into cyberspace), but I'm already finding it very hard to stay awake. Seeing as how I got up about ten this morning, I've only been up for twelve hours, but it sure feels like I've been up for much longer. I'd speculate on why that is, but I don't really know why, and so will just leave it at that.
As far as my plans for today, (mentioned in my previous entry), I didn't end up scanning, (I really really really need to do some tomorrow), but I did manage to get ore reading done, so that was good. My sister Kristen also came home from the beach, so she, Kathryn, Liv and I all went out to eat tonight. Liv didn't actually eat--she just came along to do her job at which, I might add, she did awesomely :). This was followed by a visit to my grandparents' house, where we watched Jeopardy. Kathryn and Kristen complained, saying that they didn't really want to watch it, but luckily for me, we ended up watching the whole thing. I even knew some of the answers, so that was cool. We watched almost all of Wheel of Fortune, too, while we just talked about random things and Liv ran around playing with a stuffed squeaky Kitty toy that's kept at their house for when the dogs come over. It's actually Katerina's, but they share. We had to leave around 8, though, as the Eagles pre-season game was to start then, and Kathryn wanted to watch it. She ended up watching some of it, but then left, partly because she, like me, couldn't stand the fact that the television comentators weren't doing too good of a job with the play-by-play, and partly because I wanted to sit on my bed; this computer chair really isn't too comfortable to sit in for too long. She didn't really have to leave, but she said that she didn't want to watch the game if she couldn't be "comfortable", I.E. take over my futon so that I couldn't sit on it. Apparently, when I'm not home, she'll come in here and lay on my bed to watch the game, which is fine, because I'm not here, so I don't really notice. I think she went and listened to it on the radio, and I actually have a strong feeling that the football game that's on now on the downstairs TV is the rest of the Eagles/Steelers game.
Kristen also informed me today that she got University housing. She's actually in a double in the building next to mine. I'm still trying to decide if this is a good thing or a bad--I'll have to get back to you on that one, though I'm leaning towards it being a bit of both; good because if I need "eyeballs" for something, she won't be too hard to track down, and maybe we'll hang out and go for food together sometimes--who knows?--but bad because it means that she won't be too far away to be able to come and bug me. Ah well, only time will tell, I guess.
As for tomorrow's plans, nothing too exciting really, except that I should really really start scanning the rest of these books, (they're due back on Sunday), and my sisters and I are going over to my grandparents' house again to eat dinner. Mom has been in Indiana since Thursday, and she comes back tomorrow, but not until late, so we'll just go over and eat with Momom and Popop, (what I call my grandmother and grandfather respectively). This entry has actualy turned out to be a lot longer than I'd intended in the first place, which really isn't a bad thing. I enjoy writing, so that's all that matters. I really think I need to get up from this chair; it's starting to get uncomfortable.
I've been struggling with how to end my entries as of late, ("more later" and "more soon" are beginning to get really boring and blah), so I leave you with this: I rhrhrhrhrhrhreally gotta pee!

Date: 2005-08-16 03:08 am (UTC)Wow, so we have the three counties down now - I'm in New Castle, she's in Kent and you're in Sussex, right? LoL. We'll have to get together sometime and have lunch or breakfast or something, Kent dining hall is right there. :)
And I got a comfy chair for my dorm room, because the desk chairs there are not the greatest. lol

Date: 2005-08-17 03:24 am (UTC)That's true, they do have those PDI things, and I actually think that's a good security measure--Ithaca didn't have anything as far as that went. Yeah, we'll definitely have to do lunch sometime.
