Happy St. Patty's Day

I apologize for the lack of regular updates; I've either been too busy to write, or I haven't felt like writing or, even if I did feel like writing, I didn't have any energy to actually do it.
It's St Patrick's Day once again, and even though I can't drink, it's still cool to observe it all the same. This time next year, I'll be legal, so who knows. I don't even really like alcohol, anyway, so I probably won't drink. I couldn't even finish the Margarita I was given on New Year's Eve. I took maybe two sips, and that was it. It tasted weird.
Not much has been going on. I'm at work right now, but the office is rather quiet, so I have some time to update. Pardon the occasional spelling mistake; since I'm not using a client, but rather the web to do this, it's not what I'm use to.
I found out that I got a B on that very huge and scary Architecture test I took the Friday befgore break. Other than that, My midterm grades were: one A, one A-, two B's, and a B+. The other one was an Incomplete, (the Java course), but I'll get that finished up before the semester ends if it kills me.
I'll update in more detail later, (when I actually have time to sit down and write coherently--or more coherently than I am now), but I figured I'd at least come out of the virtual Livejournal shadows and make an appearance to at least say that, if nothing else, I am, in fact, still alive :).
Today I have two classes, and then I plan to study with a classmate for tomorrow's Logic test. I got a B+ on the last one, so let's hope for much of the same with this one. We've started a new essay in P Essay, of which I wrote two pages, but it should work for today's group meeting/advice/whatever-you-want-to-call-it session.

toonhead and caneprints, I hope you have lots of fun, and I'm glad things are going well for you two. Now if I can only stop managing to play phone tag with djner, things would be awesome :)). I seriously really really really want to go to CSUN next year! It would be fun, and I would hopefully get some networking opportunities for when I'm a poor grad student, working on my master's thesis, (not that I'm not poor now, but...:)), and I'd get to play with really neat and expensive toys. How cool is that?

Date: 2005-03-17 11:01 pm (UTC)Glad to hear from you. I don't like beer much, so would probably go with wine or some other drink. I'm not sure, I haven't had much experience with too many drinks as of yet.
As for coming to one of the conferences, yeah, that would be fun. I may bo to the ACB conventiion this year, but it'll depend on whether or not I get a scholarship.

Beer is kind of nasty, though, but I guess it's because a lot of the beer I've has is "cheap beer"/ Expensive beer can sometimes be good, or so I've been told. I guess I'll find out sooner or later...
