unsilenceddreamI need to leave here around eleven to go to an eye doctor appointment, thus this shall be as quick as possible so that I have time beforehand and am not running around at the last minute.
Things have been going well for the most part as of late. I met with my state counselor yesterday, and the outcome of that meeting was very positive. Hopefully some good will come of it soon. Dinner at the grandparents' was fun last night also, not to mention very delicious as chicken and dumplings are, at least in my opinion. Unfortunately the maintenance saga regarding our apartment still continues as it hasn't been fixed yet. We thought it had, but alas, not so. Taking a shower in a bathtub full of water that wouldn't drain and took a zillion years to drain after the fact isn't my idea of fixed, never mind if others of you have differing opinions. Three calls to maintenance betwene ten o'clock or so until around four and them not showing up because there was apparently only one guy on duty and he had to take care of heaters that didn't work and would leave people freezing led my sister and I to stay at Mom's yet again. I'm not paying a good bit of money to stay at my mom's house and not in the place that I'm paying rent for I can tell you that. After my appointment, I'm hoping to stop by the apartment and get things straightened out once and for all. I will for sure be back to report on its outcome.
Speakinf of the maintenance issues, Kristen made a video of the state of things on her digital camera Monday night. Said video has now been posted to Youtube for your viewing pleasure. Even if you can't see it, the dialogue in it should be enough to understand what's going on and still give you a good laugh. I know it has done so to me in the five or so times I've watched it. The title of the video is "bathing in your Upstairs Neighbor's Leftovers". I know there's a way to have the video display directly on my journal, but I'm not sure how accessible that is. I'll be interested in comments if any of you are brave enough to attempt to watch the video. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

However, if you give a link to the video, we can view it that way. I've posted at least 1 youtube vid that way myself, not my own video of course.
And now, I'm off to see if I can find this here video!
