Another day, another update
Sep. 28th, 2006 11:27 pmI really hate it when you've already brushed your teeth, and then you get hungry again. You could eat something, sure, but then you'd have to brush your teeth again, totally defeating your brushing them the first time in the first place. That's the current state/dilemma I'm in at the moment. I'm thinking I'll end up eating, though, and just brush my teeth again; I'm pretty hungry.
After I updated yesterday things were fine. I did end up getting food, so that was good. I don't think I did anything else of substance last night really. I ended up, as is custom, on the phone with my boyfriend for awhile before I went to bed around one.
Today I had my two classes, and they went well. I can't remember or not if I mentioned it, but I got a perfect score on the quiz I took in Philosophy of Mind on Tuesday, although come to think of it, I do think I talked about that in last night's voice post. I really hate repeating myself...oh well. I have some reading to do for both classes, which I tried scanning some of today, but for some reason it wasn't going so well, so I ended up calling the Disabilities office and someone came over, picked up the handouts and said they'd do it for me no problem. Yay for really nice people, it's definitely appreciated. Sure, it's their job, but that's not the point... I do try to do as much of things on my own as I can, so I don't usually feel too badly asking them for things, even on such short notice as this. I'll hopefully get both readings sometime soon so that I can read them. We have a reading quiz in Philosophy of Mind on Tuesday, so it'd be nifty if I could get that reading before then. I was told that teded for next week would be scanned right away, so I'm guessing that won't be much of an issue.
After class, with lunch with my sister in between, I came back here and chilled for a bit, until my grandmother called inviting my sister and I for dinner. Once I got a hold of Kristen, I told her of the invitation and we went over shortly afterwards. The dinner was yummy, and it was nice to spend some time with my grandparents, not having done that recently. We came back to campus around nine, amidst some rain and thunder, which Liv didn't really like, but she's fine; she absolutely hates the rain.
Once back here, I started my paper for Chinese Philosophy that's due on Wednesday, (I have plans to finish it this weekend), and didn't really do much else. Kristen came back to my room with me for a bit, and we entertained ourselves and Liv by turning on Animal Planet. My dog really does watch TV, especially if it's Animal Planet, and even more especially if it's dogs that are on. Her favorite shows are dog shows; she really likes to watch when the dogs bark and things. It's highly amusing, and I'm entertaining her, so it works either way.
That more or less brings me to now, sitting here writing this. I really do think I want to eat something, and maybe I'll go to bed earlier than usual. Ah, my boyfriend is calling me :). With that, I'm out. More later.
