I don't exactly feel like writing, but I did want to get in an update.

Today went fine enough, which can only be thought of as a good thing, at least in my opinion. I didn't do too much in the morning, but in the afternoon, arould twelve, I met with a grad student to help him test a research project he is working on. It has to do with computer-generated tactle images and one way they can be perceived. It works something like the image is projected onto the computer, and also transmitted to this touch pad thing, on which it can be felt by using a stylus-type thing. There were different methods and algorithms of generating the five different shapes used, and it was pretty interesting to see how it all worked. I scored reasonably well, especially in comparison to those other people tested thus far. Sighted people were tested along with myself, though they were put under blindfold I think to be fair.

After the experiment was done, I met with the chairperson of the Electrical Engineering department, the result of which is that he wants me to be involved in more of their projects/research. I was definitely interested and said I'd help in whatever way I could. He said he'd keep me informed, so yay to that, it sounds exciting.

After that meeting, I met with the person who is helping me finish up 181, and that meeting went well also. All of the compiling errors I had we were able to get resolved when all was said and done, and I was able to get further along in completing assignments, so that's a good thing for sure. I have to work more on the assignment at some point, but that'll get done. I meet with her again next Thursday at one, so I have time; I don't need to feel like I have to rush and get everything done and have it be 100% perfect.

Other than that, not too much has happened. I've spent the night on Ventrilo, and chatting to various people on the computer via messengers. I don't know what I'll do tomorrow, other than read some I'm sure and who knows what else? I'm sure I'll figure out something.

Liv has been a good girl today, and she was very glad to get out, even if just for a little bit. It's still a bit muddy outside, so I can't let her outside to play for very long. Hopefully that'll change soon, though, this dog does love her outside that's for sure. Speaking of Liv, she goes into the vet on Thursday to have her teeth cleaned. I'm sure things will be fine, but putting anyone under anesthesia under any circumstances has its risks. I'm hoping the people at the vet will call me tomorrow to let me know if there is anything special I need to do with her before I take her in. I know I probably shouldn't feed her or give her water after her last feeding tomorrow, but other than that, I don't know. As this is my first time ever having to do such a thing, I obviously don't have answers. Maybe if I don't get a call by midday tomorrow, I'll give them a call just to find out for sure.

With that, I think I'm out. It's suppose to rain here later at some point I think, and possibly even thunderstorm. I think it's suppose to last from tonight into tomorrow, fun and exciting for sure. It's suppose to be windy also, something about 50 mph gusts. I guess that means hold onto your hats, or if you don't happen to be wearing a hat at the time, hold onto whatever it is that you are wearing that has the potential to blow away. Alright, that's it, I'm out guys, more later for sure.
