Okay, so the post didn't catch the mispronunciation, which is the whole reason I posted it in the first place. In sum, I was listening to XM to coverage of the election. I listened to a speech by Obama, which was very uplifting and made me want to vote for him in November all the more. He wasn't arrogant at all, not from what I could tell anyway. He came across as just your average. After his speech there was some news items, and then coverage of a speech by McCain. When he first started, he stumbled through the the pronunciations of some peoples' names, and then he went on to talk about the war. I guess he was speaking at some veteran gathering or other. Later in the speech, instead of "comradery", Senator McCain said something like "comradewee", or what sounded like "com-er-rod-a-wee". I turned it off right then. I couldn't take it any more. I had had/heard enough. Haha! Highly amusing. I definitely don't want another president who butchers the English language that's for sure. It's pathetic, actually. I just had to share that. Right, off to read...

I'm not a die-hard McCaine fan, but as usual, he is the best of two evils. I am in the minority of my friends in that I will be voting for him in November because I have seen nothing from Obama that indicates he is ready for the job. It's sad that many of us prefer shine over substance...

The bottom line is you have to vote for who you feel will be the best candidate, no matter what.
Take care, and thanks for the comment.

Yeah, and McCain just knows too little about foreign policy. He's corrected by his aides all the time! I think it'll be Bush for a third term if he's chosen, but I guess we shall see.

Haha, yeah, I agree with you. You're also right, though, in that we shall see...
Take care.

See I don't think a president who isn't the best public speaker is a BAD thing. And I will be voting not for Obama....I just don't like most things he stands for.

Whatever works for you. Personally, I view the president as a spokesperson for our country, because to me that's what he is, and so I would like it if he knew how to speak the language eloquently.
Take care, and thanks for the comment.

About the voice post.

Brilliant stuff, though personally myself I can't in good conscience vote for either one of them. I'm thinking about a third party candidate, but that leaves me with the Libertarians, which I absolutely refuse to vote for b/c I don't agree with them on a lot of things, the Communists and Socialists, which obviously I don't want to vote for, the Greens, which I might vote for if they actually would have an actual agenda instead of just the environment, though that is important obviously. The Constitution Party's too conservative. that essentially leaves me with ... nov toing? Horrible situation, but then both parties, imo, are basically becoming one anyway, so it really doesn't matter anymore.

Yeah, the results of the election should be interesting that's for sure. I'm dead set on Obama, unless something drastic happens between now and then, which I highly doubt. I just like him as a person, and from what I've seen.
Take care, and thanks for the comment.
