What a week
Feb. 26th, 2010 08:53 amThis week has been both long and surprisingly fast all at the same time, if that makes any sense. The recent sudden surprising death of a friend a week ago has finally hit me, which probably accounts for some of my not feeling with it. Allergies have also started to bother me, but this is the prime time for that to start, so I'm not really that surprised. Snow has also "graced" us with its presence again, although I haven't been out yet so don't know how much we truly got. That will change in a few minutes, though, upon taking out the dog.
Other than that, I'm not too sure. No news on grad schools yet, though I still have to fill out background checks for the one. Maybe I can get that done today; the thought is nice, at least. For one of them, you need to register for an appointment in order to get it done. Said registration can be done online, which is hopefully accessible.
I haven't read as much as I normally do, but I'm almost finished reading Pet Sematary by Stephen King. If you want an insane book, that'll definitely fit the bill. I have a little under an hour left in it, and so that's definitely in the plans for today. Also on the agenda: seeing if judo and goalball practice are canceled or not. I have plans to meet up with a friend afterword, which I'm planning on doing anyway, regardless of practice. Well no, I take that back; I plan on doing that if trains/elements/etc. cooperate. I think that's about it. I just wanted to come in and make an appearance as it's been awhile. I hope all of you are well. More soon.
