Sep. 17th, 2008 10:59 pmI decided it was about time I put an appearance in here. It's been awhile since I've done so. Things have been going well enough, same old same old, really. I've been doing a lot of reading lately, as well as hanging out and also contacting a few people regarding job leads. Nothing has come up yet, but when something does, I'll be sure to mention it.
I've watched a few movies recently. I watched Half Baked three nights ago, Grandma's Boy the night after that, and that same movie again, with my sister, last night. It's a really funny movie, so I didn't mind watching it twice. Half Baked is funny as well, though in a different way from Grandma's Boy.
In the reading department, I'm still reading The Hobbit, and I finished the book National Velvet by Eaid Bagnold, which was a good book about a girl who trains horses for a competition and the events that surround that. After I'm finished with The Hobbit, I think I'm going to reread all seven Harry Potter books as I want to have them read prior to the release of the sixth movie coming out in November.
Aside from that, I'm not really sure there's too much else to update about. I had Braille class that I helped out with on Monday, which went well. People are progressing, and it's really awesome to see said progress from week to week. I'm hoping that the few people who haven't been there for the past two weeks come next week. I really do enjoying helping people learn Braille as I feel it a necessary skill to learn.
I think that's about all from here for now. I'll be back sooner than later, however. Take care all, I hope you are well. Getting fairly caught up on Friends' page is my next priority...
