Short and sweet
May. 26th, 2008 12:21 amI'm really sorry I haven't kept up a regular appearance in this thing. The truth is, not too much of interest is happening in my life that I feel needs updating. Even though I might not post as much doesn't mean I don't read the rest of your journals, though, not in the least. I do, in fact, read, and comment as well.
Kathryn and I spent the evening over at our mom's, which was really enjoyable as I hadn't hung out there in awhile. We spent most of the evening outside on the deck. Liv came as well and also enjoyed herself laying on the deck in the sun and running/playing around the yard. I'm not really sure if anything is on the schedule for tomorrow, but if not, that's okay with me. I'll probably just continue to read. I'm currently reading Licys Story by Stephen King and a book called Creative Dreaming by Patricia Garfield. Both books are captivating, and I'm hoping to perhaps learn something from the second. Time will tell.
Other than that, not a whole lot else. The date to move into the new apartment is next weekend I think, although we still need to sign the new lease first, which I'm hoping will take place sometime this week. If management doesn't call on TUesday as they said they would, I guess I'll put a call into them. I don't necessarily like dealing with them, but what can you do? It's all good, or should be.
One last thing I've gotten into as of late is the show Star Trek. My dad use to watch it when I was little, but I was too young to know anything about it then. I've only seen the first three episodes in the first season of I'm guessing the original show, although I'm not positive, and I really do like it. The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is another amazingly awesom show.
