My computer was shut down, but then, after a luxuriating and very refreshing shower, I decided to turn it on and send an email that I'd wanted to send before I forgot about it. While in the shower, this song, which had been in my head from midday on, wasn't going anywhere, no matter what. The chorus kept repeating and repeating itself in my head. Youtube to the rescue, I have now listened to the song, and I hope that I can go to sleep and not have anything running around my head and driving me crazy. I had wanted to stay up and catch some XM programming, but I'm not sure that'll end up happening. It's past my bedtime as it is, anyway. Ah well... Youtube really does have everything, I'm serious! If there's anyone who begs to differ with me, I'd love to hear about it. In other random news, I do believe that I'm caught up on Friends' page, all two or so days that I'd missed prior to now. Yay for two entries in only a matter of hours? Well, hmm, maybe not, but it works, more or less. Take care all, more soon.

Not too much has happened today, but I did want to come in and report that I absoultely adore my new vacuum! The apartment has successfully been vacuumed, and that vacuum does wonders let me tell you! I'm excited to vacuum, which is something considering I didn't much like it before. I guess that's the difference between using a vacuum that doesn't really work and using one that works wonders! Yay! Alright, I think I'm done writing about my vacuum now. Has my life really come down to that? Holy crap, in that case, I need a job, and soon! Lol!

I'm debating what to read next after I'm finished with 19 Minutes, which I'm hoping to be done with sometime tonight or tomorrow. I was going to read Salem's Lot by Stephen King, but I'm not sure I'd like that book. For those of you who read it, is it worth the read? I like some of King's Stuff, (I especially loved the Dark Tower series, and The Stand was an awesome book), but I'm not so much into his bloody/gory stuff. It's not just him as an author either, I'm more into psychological horror stuff versus the blood and guts and that kind of thing. Any book recommendations would be great; any genre is fine, I'm up for trying new things.

In other news, I ate another piece of pumpkin pie earlier, which was absolutely yumtastic! My grandmother seriously makes the best pumpkin pie, ever! Well okay, so I haven't had anyone else's homemade pumpkin pie to my knowledge, so perhaps that's an unfair judgement, but it's amazing, at any rate. I guess I should really eat something of substance, though, as I doubt that qualifies as "dinner". I don't know what to eat, however. There are two more pieces of pie in my fridge. I wonder how much longer they'll be there?
