I haven't written since last Wednesday, so figured I'd write again.

The rest of last week wasn't too eventful, and I honestly can't really remember what I did on Wednesday and Thursday, so I'm guessing it must not have been too exciting then. I'm sure I read, relaxed and spent time with the family. Thursday night was spent starting to pack to go to Aaron's in Jersey for the weekend, and that got finished on Friday morning.

In the morning on Friday I didn't do too much except finish packing, and in the afternoon Mom drove Kathryn and I to the train station. While there, we ran into one of our friends from high school who was getting off the train, so that was nifty. Peter did end up taking the train down from Philly to meet with us, so he was there when the train got in. The train ride wasn't too eventful, unless you count the fact that the ticket collector dude questioned whether or not Kathryn and I were really blind. NO, we're faking it; yeah, I walk around with a cane and a dog for fun thanks ver much. He apparently experienced a man faking he was deaf, which I guess could cause for some concern. The man in question had come onto the train using only sign language to talk to the conductor/ticket collector dude. What tipped him off was that later in the ride, the "deaf" man was talking on his cell phone. If you're gonna try to fake it, at least play the role *all* the way through the ride, seriously!

We ended up coming into Philly, getting dinner at Chiles, and then meeting Michael sometime afterwards and heading to Jersey. We were going to take the bus, but the one we were going to take blatantly didn't stop for us even when I'm sure they saw us, and even after we tried to flag it down. Come to think of it, I don't think we ever called NJ Transit back and complained personally to them. I offered to pay for a cab, which we did, and so got to Aaron's at a decent time instead of around midnight.

Friday night was spent just hanging out and doing who knows what, I can't remember exactly. It was nice to see Aaron again, and to meet Michael for the first time. It was also nice to see my boyfriend, but I think that's a given, or should be :). Saturday was spent just chilling at the house. John came over, so that was nifty. Kathryn met him at an independent living training thing she went to, and Aaron and Peter had known him already, but it was my and I believe Michael's first time meeting him. It was cool to meet him finally. We just hung out, listening to music, singing karaoke, and playing a rather interesting game of Truth, Dare or Firehouse, the details of which I won't get into here. Some alcohol was consumed, though not much. We ended up getting some Friday night at the store, and actually brought some home with us yesterday as it hadn't been opened.

Sunday we chilled in the morning and headed into Philly in the afternoon to have lunch and take Michael to his bus, or so we thought. It was at lunch, at Midtown or whatever it was, that it was decided Michael would just stay again another night. The food at that particular restaurant wasn't too good, which was very annoying. I had a pizza burger, which I hadn't ever eaten before, and the slice of cheesecake wasn't good at all unfortunately.

Sunday night was spent I believe hanging out some more, doing what I'm not honestly sure. At around midnight, I finally gave in and gave Peter his birthday present as it was officially his birthday. I wouldn't give it to him earlier, even though Aaron and Mikey gave theirs earlier, but that's for him to explain, not me :). He ended up liking the present, which is a good thing. Monday consisted of being very lazy in the morning and afternoon, too, I think. We finally got some cash after not really having much in the way of that, (we were suppose to have been left some, but that was forgotten), and a store run was made, which was good as we needed a few things. We finally managed to be productive and leave for Philly around nine or so. We got into Philly, ate at Chiles again because Olive Garden was closed, and then headed to a bar to get drinks because we all could at that point. I had a Long Island that wasn't as strong as some, but it was still good. We ended up coming home on the 12:15 bus, and got back around 1:30. I ended up falling in and out of sleep on the bus, but alcohol makes me sleepy, so that explains that. The rest of the night was just spent hanging out, and I honestly don't know what time I fell asleep.

Yesterday was spent getting ready to leave in the morning and heading out around two. We went into Philly, and stopped by and ate at the Olive Garden. Yay for very yummy soup and salad, but not yay for very annoying waitresses and slow service and the fact that we could have had a less expensive bill if the people hadn't taken their time to come ask us for our order. I was very annoyed at that, and even though I asked for seconds on soup, (we all got the unlimited soup, salad breadstick thing), they never bought it out. Ah well, we all ended up having fun, and it was at that restaurant that it was decided Mikey, again, would stay over at Aaron's that night also. Due to the slow service, he missed his bus. We all found it pretty funny that every time we would go to a restaurant, Mikey ended up staying a night longer.

We headed back on the train, and that ride was uneventful. Liv was glad to see me when I came home, and I was glad to see my family also. That pretty much brings me to now, sitting here writing this.

All in all, the weekend was most definitely fun, and we need to do that again for real. I enjoyed being able to spent time with amazing friends, act random and not have it matter, sing Rent songs at random and not-so-random moments and have people join in, and just have a good time. It was discovered that I can actually hit the high C in the "Seasons of Love" solo, which was fun, and I had to do it at least three times just because I could. I really hope everyone had as much fun as I did, but I'm almost sure of it. Some interesting conversations took place which led to the invention or discovery of different sayings/inside jokes, and that's always fun. I especially cracked myself up yesterday at Olive Garden after I said something and couldn't explain myself for at least a minute or more on account of my laughing so much.

I'm glad that Peter enjoyed his birthday, and we could all be there to celebrate. I'm also glad that Aaron was out of the hospital in time to do so. I know I'm forgetting some details, some intentionally, others unintentionally, but if I think of more, I'll be sure to update with them.
School stuff: it's behind a cut to conserve length. )

Today has consisted of working on getting various school-related odds and ends taken care of. Professors have been emailed, (at least the ones I can for now), and other contacts been made, so things are starting to get done. I'm still waiting on my laptop, which I hope comes in soon. I also called and scheduled an eye doctor's appointment for October, so yay for being productive.

I think that's about it for now. Tomorrow will consist of the dentist and Mobility, and then on Friday, Kathryn and I take Paratransit down to the beach for the weekend. We wanted to go by ourselves, so it should be fun. We're going to some bar on Friday to hear some band play--I have no clue, but Kristen does, and Kathryn sort of does, so I'm just going with them. Who knows, it could be fun. Alright, I'm out for now. To Rosie, thanks for adding me back, and yes, I did accept your add :). Take care guys, more soon.
