An update of sorts
Aug. 6th, 2006 12:53 pmNot too much has been happening as of late, but I felt an update was the thing to do, or something.
The past few days have been fine enough, just relaxing and hanging out. I updated on I think it was Thursday night. Friday we went to Pennsylvania with my grandparents. We walked around a flea market (sp?) and also went to the buffet place, which was very tasty and enjoyable. Friday night I didn't do a whole lot except spend my time reading, on the computer, and on the phone. I had a major headache that night, and so got off the phone with my boyfriend earlier than usual and went to bed.
Yesterday was more of the same, reading and spending time on the computer and phone. I'm in the process of taking care of some school-related issues which I hope to have sorted out relatively soon, but you never know with those things sometimes. For dinner last night we had dried beef gravy on toast with mashed potatoes, mmm tasty for sure. I'd been wanting that meal ever since I came back home from Ithaca. We were going to have it the Monday before I went to Seattle, but with one thing leading to another, that didn't end up happening. Peter ended up coming down that night as I probably mentioned, and I actually forget what we did for dinner that night. Maybe we went to Chiles? I honestly don't remember...or maybe I had the rest of the cheese stake I had ordered a previous night, no clue reall, and ultimately, it doesn't really matter.
Last night consisted of more reading whatnot, and I ended my night by customarily talking to Peter on the phone. I don't even know if 'customarily' is a word, but if not, it is now.
Today hasn't been too exciting. I've read some and sat outside a bit ago with my dog listening to music. I don't know what else is on tap for today, but I want to perhaps go and buy some new headphones as mine broke awhile ago. I think that's really it for this update in all honesty. I want to extend my thoughts out to Aaron, and hope that he gets well very soon. My boyfriend is off to Canada with some of his family today for a few days, so that should be fun and exciting. Hmm, well, on second though, maybe not... I've only been to Canada once, in ninth grade for a music competition. Yay for Montreal! He's going to Toronto, and one of my uncles just moved to Toronto, so that's nifty. I'll have to go visit him sometime. We still need to figure out a place to go with those plane tickets...
I really do think that's it. Oh yes, those who have commented as of late to my entries, replies are forthcoming. I'll leave you with the persuasion to go listen to the new Rascal Flats album, particularly the song entitled "My Wish". I tried to find lyrics, but I couldn't. It's a really good song, though. Oh wow, I just found lyrics. ( They're right here... ) Take care guys, more soon.
