This and that
Dec. 18th, 2005 07:00 pmNot a lot has been happening as of late, hence the not-so-frequent updates.
Yesterday consisted of doing not really much of anything in the morning, but last night the family went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. I have all of my shopping done except for a few people, (well, okay, only one), and I have no clue what to get said person, so it should be interesting to see what happens there. I ordered from Amazon, and the order should be here sometime this week, (it ships out tomorrow, so maybe 2-3 days after that), so I guess I don't really have to worry about that. Other than shopping, I came back here last night and really didn't do anything, but I'm kind of getting use to that unfortunately. I just wish sometimes that I could go somewhere or hang with people, it gets somewhat lonely. Enough of the depressingness, though.
Today consisted of more shopping, and baking of fudge, though I haven't tasted it yet. Mom baked it, and I really don't know how it turned out. It's marshmellow fudge or something, so it should be tasty. I've started reading Da Vinci Code, and thus far, it's quite good. I'm also determined to finish Sorcery, (Pratchett's fifth Discworld novel), soon as well. We were going to decorate the tree today, but aside from the lights, nothing else has been done about it. My sisters and I also have an advent calender which we've had ever since I can remember, and since Kristen and I have been at school, some of the days haven't gotten done, so we need to do that. We all have to be together for that, and no one can open the pocket for their particular day and put whatever is inside on the tree thing unless we're all there. If we did, it would be cheating or something.
With that, I think I'm out. I think Kristen Kathryn and I are headed to the grandparents'. More soon, I swear it, these infrequent updates aren't good for me.
