poetprodigy7--there are just certain times when you can't pass up taking full advantage of the extra little "benefits" having a screen reader offers you.
But, on to more important matters...
I took my last final and finished it a half hour or so ago, and now I'm done!!!! Part of me can't really believe it's actually true, but I guess I should just start believing it! I'm free for the next month and a half or so! Well okay, that doesn't count the one class I need to finish to rectify the Incomplete, but can we just not think about that now? Good, thank you!
My Geology final went very well, in my opinion, and I'm generally happy with it. Grades haven't come in yet, but they should come in at some point soon. Speaking of grades, I had a bit of a scare when I went to check them. The system told me that my grades were on hold for one reason or another. I panicked for a short few seconds or two, but then called the ADA office to see if they could help. I was informed that the system apparently had it down that I hadn't finished paying off all of my school balance, but I actually had, and after one call to my mom explaining the situation and just making sure that we had, indeed, paid the bill, and another call to first the Registrar, (who said to call another place at such-and-such a number), and calling said number, and explaining the situation, and having the woman say "It's all fixed", or something to that affect, and thanking her, and getting off the phone, and going and again viewing my grades, it was indeed fixed; and now this very very long run on sentence will end...right here! (I actually did intend for that last sentence to be a run on).
I really don't think I have anything else to write on at the moment. I think Kristen and I will go get food at some point shortly, and I should actually call my mom back and tell her the grade situation has been taken care of come to think of it, just for closure's sake. I have no obligations between now and 10:00 AM on Friday morning, so I shall definitely be basking in and enjoying that wonderful lovely and, indeed, very true fact. Friday's "obligation" isn't actually anything too demanding on my part, (hopefully anyway), so it's definitely all good here.
