It's already 8:30, and I've actually been up and productive. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, or if that's really sad and pathetic since on a Sunday it's probably an implicit law somewhere that says you can sleep later. Whatever it is, it's true.

I've been up since 7:30, (for what reason I don't really know), and I've managed to finish this one assignment that's taken me forever to do, (finally!). I don't know if it's right, (my code works, and the result is something that is different from the original), so I guess I'm good, but I think I want an expert opinion, if one can be had. Either way, I'm glad I got this thing done because I was getting tired of working on it. It wasn't hard at all actually, the logistics of how to do some parts of it were just, at times, somewhat of a challenge.

I had planned to write yesterday, but it's probably better that I didn't, and waited until today when my brain can actually string coherent thoughts together. This was proving quite difficult for me last night when I considered writing or even making a phone post, but I decided against it, giving into the fact that I was utterly and extremely exhausted and so should just go to bed.

Yesterday was a nice day spent at home with the family, relaxing and not doing too much of anything. Liv and I left here around twelve yesterday, and didn't get back until eight:thirty or so last night. Liv enjoyed playing in the yard and being her usual crazy self, while I also enjoyed time sitting outside in the nice, fresh, warm, springlike air (I actually wrote "error", and so had to fix it; I've been coding for too long, do forgive me), as well as doing some reading that wasn't school-related. I started to listen to this one book for class that I have on tape, but figured it would be better for me immensely if I just went and got the book from the library and scanned it. I ended up doing that, and it's already scanned, (I did that last night after coming back here; for a paperback, it turned out surprisingly well). Yesterday I also downloaded AIM to use on my Pac Mate, and after going home and having my wireless card magically detect our router, I was online and actually using AIM to talk to people via my Pac Mate, how cool is that? The US version apparently costs, (no clue why), so I have the UK version, (which doesn't cost), and it works quite awesomely. It was just really cool to get that working.

Later on, my mom, Kathryn and I went out to dinner, and we had very awesome food that was definitely yummy and tasty. I had chicken strips with ranch drizzled overtop and some fries, along with a Root Beer and some water. Liv stayed home, so after we had dinner, we then went home, retrieved my dog, and shortly I was driven back to campus, whereupon I came back here and scanned the already mentioned book while watching some show on Discovery about the evolution of human beings while also doing laundry, (I actually folded and put it away right when I brought it back here instead of waiting the usual one day before I get around to doing that). It was an interesting show that I watched, I think called Prehistoric Man or something; I can't remember exactly.

Today shall consist of I'm not too sure what, besides doing some more work. Later tonight I'm meeting with two people to study for my Geology test tomorrow, and I'll probably also study for that sometime today by myself as well so that I'm more prepared. I've finished the lab assignment, (the assignment mentioned first in the beginning of this entry), and I don't really want to start onthe project until I can be positively sure that I did the lab right. (The work for the project is built off that which we did in the lab). As for the other assignment which I submitted part of and reallly want to fix so that people can see that my code actually works, I haven't heard back on that, so perhaps if I don't hear back about that today, I'll see if I can't ask my professor after class tomorrow what he thinks I should do. I should also probably finish up the one section of my research paper that I started earalier in the week and haven't finished. That shouldn't be hard, though, and I actually enjoy writing it. I also sent out surveys to people regarding their use of screen readers to help with my paper, so I can hopefully actually finish the paper next weekend. If any of you want to fill one out, you can; it's only four questions long, so shouldn't be too hard. Comment or contact me if you're interested.

With that, I think I'm going to end this. I haven't fed my dog yet, so I'm sure she'd like it if I obliged her :). More soon.

I'm strongly debating bed soon, but I thought I'd at least write a quick entry beforehand.

Today was a good day. I ended up finishing the one section of my research paper I had wanted to finish, and I read the first chapter out of the book for History. I also met a friend earlier tonight to study for the Geology exam I may or may not have tomorrow. (I unfortunately forgot to run it by the disabilities office that I had my Geology exam tomorrow, so I don't know if someone will be able to read it to me or not. It's a multiple choice, True/false test, and I usually find it's just easier if someone reads it to me and fills it in that way; it goes faster that's for sure). I actually don't know what the policy is on scheduling tests here, at IC it was at least three days prior to the test, (although we still got calls at Academic Services from people who had a test "tomorrow" that they needed to schedule; for real), and in the email I sent to the director about my test tomorrow, I asked about it. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens when she gets back to me tomorrow. If no one is available to read for me tomorrow, hopefully it won't be a problem for either the office or my prof if I just take it another day this week.

Aside from doing work, I went home again today for awhile and ended up staying for dinner, spaghetti, mmm tasty definitely. I discovered upon coming back here, while riding in the car, that the one radio station has started its holiday seasonal tradition, (somewhat earlier than previous years, in my opinion), of playing Christmas songs 24/7 from now until I believe December 26. Part of me likes this, but another part of me slightly objects and thinks it's a bit too early for such things, at least wait until after Thanksgiving, no?

I can't think of anything else that is really worth of writing, and my thoughts are rather incoherent at the moment, so I think I'm going to end this where it is. I was thinking if at least starting to study/look over the lecture slides for my Geology exam, but I have tomorrow morning to start, and I have from 11-1 as well, providing I take the exam around 1:25 tomorrow, so that should be enough time. I also find that with test such as this one, it's almost better to study when things can be more fresh in your mind. I know some of the material, but it wouldn't help to look over it again. More later, it's bedtime for me.
