Must, wake, up
Oct. 27th, 2005 09:06 amI've been up since around quarter after eight, but it definitely doesn't feel like it. I'm still feeling very much tired, and I can't seem to wake up for the life of me. I thought writing an entry might help the process, but I'm even doubting that.
Yesterday after I wrote went fine enough. I went to my History class, where we watched a movie through part of it, and I found myself dozing off. Why do I always do that? I'd really like to know. Maybe it's because I can't actually *see* the movie, and just have the audio to go on...I don't know, but I do know that eight times out of tem, I manage to catch myself dozing off. I'm usually fine after that, though, and can stay awake for the rest of the class. We also got our exams back yesterday, but I didn't here my name called, and due to everyone crowding the isle to get down to the front, I figured sending an email to my prof would be the best thing, which is what I did. I haven't heard back as of yet.
Swimming was fun, even though I sometimes don't know what work on when I go, but I always end up figuring something out. I also worked on my programming assignment some more, and each individual file compiles what I believe is correctly--it produces the correct resulting file--but when I try to compile all of the files together to actually make the executable, it still talks about undefined references to a particular function. Very frustrating, and, to me, very nonsencical. If all of the files compiled fine by themselves, I don't see why I should be getting such errors. I'm thinking of emailing either my prof or TA later today to ask about it.
I guess I should actually end this and start being productive. I have to meet someone at ten to fill out a form to get a key to the technology center in the library, and I have an appointment with my Linguistics prof at 10:30. I also have my Linguistics group session at 12:30, and Anthropology at 3:30. Today hopefully shouldn't be too bad. After all is said and done, I'll be free of classes until Monday. I of course have work to do, but it isn't that much, and it will get done. On that note, I leave you, and will update later. Welcome to Untechnically Technicaly Friday!
