Ok, so two days have gone by since my previous entry unlike the few hours I had planned when I'd written it.  Ah well, that happens sometimes.  Since  that's the case, though, I can't really remember all of what I wanted to write about, which is slightly annoying.

I did make it to class on time on Thursday, which was good.  P Essay wasn't too eventful, but in my Religion class, we watched a movie on the state of American Foreign Policy, (or perhaps it's more like/should be the lack thereof), which was very amusing/interesting/entertaining all in one.  I can remember one of the women interviewed had a really interesting quote, something to do with a "double chicken hawk whammy".  I can't exactly remember now around which circumstances this quote was said, nor do I know what a double chicken hawk whammy is, (let alone a single chicken hawk whammy--if one even exists), but it made me laugh.  I think it's an expression that is used to explain an unfortunate situation/event/whatever, and yeah, I know, I seriously most definitely didn't explain that right at all.  I'm finding it extremely difficult to think well enough to put words together to make coherent sentences, and my train of thought is even less coherent, so please forgive me.

After class on Thursday, I went with a few friends to eat dinner, and then went to a Students for Sustainability meeting, (one of the many clubs on campus).  It was interesting, and maybe they'll actually make a difference, I don't know.  They're basically trying to pass this Declaration thing that promotes sustainability initiatives on campus.  They say they already have a plan, which they do, but this one that is possibly up for adoption has some differences, and it's a national plan or something, 300 or so schools already having signed onto it.

After that, I went with one of the friends I'd eaten with to Thursday night Catholic Mass.  He'd also come to the meeting with me, so we just went straight from one to the other.  I didn't have to go to Mass, and I was a bit apprehensive about it, but decided it could be a learn experience or something, and so went.  It was alright, but for some reason I felt kind of weird being there.  The people I met were cool, though, and one of them was named Elizabeth, how cool is that?  She goes by the full "Elizabeth", though, unlike me, who doesn't tollerate that name, unless called so by a few individual select people.  It's just way too formal for me, and I don't usually hear it unless I'm in trouble, which is hardly often.

Other than that, Thursday was pretty uneventful.  I don't think I did anything after Mass except come back here, obviously, and go to bed, albeit a bit late, instead of early as I had originally planned.

Yesterday I went to classes as usual, which went well enough.  The professor didn't have our Logic tests graded yet, so I'll get that Monday.  I hope I did decently on it.  Partly because I want to do well, and partly because I want to show him that I actually do know what I'm doing.  I know he probably thinks so, but I think he was somewhat nervous at first about teaching me.  I learn fast and try my best, which helps immensely.

Before my afternoon classes, the person from Cornell who was going to stop by at 4 called and said she couldn't meet due to a computer issue she had, so hopefully we can  figure something out for sometime this week.  I also met, around lunchtime,  with the classmate to go over Logic homework, (that didn't happen Thursday), and we did it, and got all of them right, go us!  Oh yeah, never, ever, ever eat a huge pizza, an apple pastry thing, and drink a tall Mocha, (without whipped cream preferably), if you have two or more classes right after that.  All I wanted to do after that was take a nice nap, but I had to go to class, which meant the nap couldn't happen unfortunately :(.

Last night was pretty eventful.  After class, I actually did come back here and try, somewhat unsuccessfully, to take a nap; I was really tired.  Around six, a friend and I went to a concert thing the music fraternity, (one of the three or so fraternities and sorrorities recognized here), was putting on, which was cool.  In doing that, though, we didn't exactly get to have dinner, because things had closed, which was not too cool, but it was alright.

After the concert, we went to this game night thing, where I commenced to play some kind of word game where you have an electronic thing that displays words, and it's timed, and you have to try and describe the particular word that's on the screen without using it.  You play in teams, or at least we did.  I guess you don't have to.  I forget what it's called, though, but it's fun.  After that, we played this game called Mafia.  It's basically a game where people sit in a circle, and depending on what kind of card you get, (its a standard 52-card deck of cards used), you're either part of the mafia, an angel/doctor, the detective, or one of the "village people".  *YMCA*...  Oh right, no, not those kind of village people, sorry.  I was one of the village people.  Anyway, there are different rounds, and with each round, someone gets killed, and you have to guess who the mafia are.  I knew who was the detective because the guy was sitting next to me, and I could hear him moving when he was asked to wake up.  Basically the detective can find out anything about anyone he wants to.  It was fun, and I'd never played it before, so it was cool to play.  I'm not sure I explained that too well, but if anyone's confused, just comment, and I'll try and clear your confusion up.

Today hasn't consisted of doing too much.  I got in around twelve this morning, and went to bed shortly after that.  I got up at 9, but had a very hard time waking up this morning.  Ah well, it happens.  I went to eat brunch earlier with a few friends, and I've not been doing too much sense.  I read a bit of reading for class, and watched the Arkansas Vs. Tenessee basketball game, for which the subject of this entry relates.  I think I fell asleep or something in the middle of it, because one moment we were ahead, and the next, we were down by 7 points or something, crapp; not cool.  We won, which is definitely a good thing, go Hogs!  And yes, I now fully admit that I'm a dork.  According to some, I'm also the weirdest blind person ever, but personally I beg to differ ;).  Opinions anyone?

Part of me will be really sad to leave here at the end of the semester, but I am really happy to be going on to new and exciting things.  I'll miss a lot of my friends and professors, but I'll keep in touch with some of them I'm sure.
With that, I'll close.  I'm sure there's more I could write, but that will have to wait until my thought pattern is more coherent.
More later, maybe after a nap, I'm tired.
